– REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS –
GNPC GAS COMMERCIALISATION PROJECT
In June and September 2007, the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) announced discoveries of significant quantities of oil and gas in offshore deepwater Tano/Cape Three Points. GNPC expects more discoveries of gas in adjoining areas to be made.
The Corporation is playing a lead role to commercialize the Jubilee Field associated natural gas, and other gas fields to be discovered. The key objectives are to meet the challenging schedule of having gas infrastructure in place by mid 2010 at a cost that enables gas to be supplied in Ghana at the lowest possible price. The expected initial processing capacity is 300 mmscfd.
GNPC is therefore seeking a partner(s) on a non-exclusive basis to design, engineer, procure, construct, install, finance, operate and manage facilities to realize the objectives of the Jubilee Field Gas Project.
